With many years of experience in his field, Dr Hammond can provide a comprehensive range of treatments.

Dr Randall Hammond grew up in PMB and matriculated at Maritzburg College in 2005. He went on to obtain a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery with first class Honors from UCT in 2011. After completing an internship in Durban, he joined the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Edendale Hospital, Pietermaritzburg, and it was there that his passion blossomed. Dr Randall obtained a diploma in Obstetrics in 2014, going on to specialise in the discipline. He was awarded his fellowship degree in 2020, and his Masters degree in 2021.

I am honestly blown away. So much care and passion went into him treating me on one of the scariest nights of my life. He reassured me the whole way was very comforting and kind. Amazing bedside manner and l couldn't have asked for a better person to be treating me. Highly recommend and l look forward to you treating me for a long time to come. Dr Hammond delivered my first baby by default! I was nervous, I didn’t know who he was, I had never met him before until it was time to do an emergency Caesar. He was so calm, so professional and so amazing!So much so, that when I fell pregnant with my second baby, I moved to Dr Hammond and wow was it the best thing I did!He listens, he cares and he has his clients best interest at heart! He was always willing to go the extra mile for me and for that, I am truly grateful!And let’s not forget his amazing receptionists Melissa and Nikki!There’s nothing better than walking into your appointment and being greeted with a friendly smile! These ladies also go above and beyond!
